Business ownership in petroleum wholesale and transport, together with ownership and operation of a blown-film manufacturing plant, provides practical grounding in commercial operations, manufacturing, distribution, logistics and business administration.
Executive & operational leadership
As Operations Director at Plasticorp, the founder held responsibility for production, finance, HR and budgeting. His wider executive experience includes IT strategy, staff leadership, supplier management and programme delivery.
Technology, systems & automation
At Plasticorp, the founder implemented SCADA and PLC/sensor monitoring with Visual Basic code. His experience also includes ERP/MRP systems at TRAQ Petroleum and enterprise systems in corporate settings.

Customer acquisition, petroleum sourcing, supplier management and logistics at TRAQ Petroleum provide a practical basis for assessing business models, commercial relationships and the resources needed to develop opportunities.

Heinrich du Plessis
Founder & Principal
Heinrich du Plessis is a South African entrepreneur and business operator whose professional experience spans petroleum wholesale and transport, industrial manufacturing, hospitality, executive management and enterprise technology.
His entrepreneurial background includes business ownership through TRAQ Petroleum, ownership and operation of Plasticorp, a blown-film manufacturing plant in Silverton, Pretoria, and previous ownership of a coffee shop in central Pretoria and a Saddle's Steak House in southern Pretoria.
Beyond his own businesses, Heinrich has contributed to the establishment of independent enterprises. He encouraged and guided H. Potgieter in establishing Pro Landy CC, an independent automotive workshop, and provided technology support during the establishment of a RealNet franchise in Faerie Glen, Pretoria.
His corporate experience includes senior technology and management positions at Wyeth SA / Pfizer Pharmaceuticals and Murex Biotech, part of Abbott Diagnostics, together with contract project and programme management responsibilities involving Vodacom South Africa and Barclays Africa.
